About the Event
The Bruce Museum extends a special invitation to friends of ICC to an after-hours viewing of Rohini Devasher: Solar Poetics followed by "Borrowed Light", a presentation exploring ecology, cosmology, and technology with Indian artist Rohini Devasher. After her talk, Devasher will be joined in conversation by Brinda Kumar, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Rohini Devasher: Solar Poetics, is Devasher’s first solo museum exhibition in the United States and is anchored by the artist’s “One Hundred Thousand Suns” (2023), an immersive four-channel video installation new to the Bruce Museum’s collection.
