HoliFest is a community-wide celebration of Holi presented by India Cultural Center. It is ICC's opportunity to share the joy and playfulness of one of India's most revered and celebrated festivals with the community. Playing with vibrant and bright powdered colors is meant to unite people and provide positivity in our lives. Everyone is invited to participate. It's a celebration of love and inclusion.

WHERE: Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, 100 Arch Street, Greenwich (immediately off Rte. 95 Exit 3)
WHAT: Food, music, dancing, dhol player, kids' activities, henna for kids, and a massive color throw!
How much are tickets?
Advance online registration is $25 a person for kids 2 through adults. For groups of 30 to 50 who want to attend HoliFest together, you can purchase a 10' x 10' tent that will come with 2 tables and 24 chairs. The cost per ticket is $30. Group sales closes on May 4 at noon. Day of registration is $30 pp. Cash will not be accepted for day of sales. Pay by credit card or Zelle.
What is included in the ticket price?
Everything but food. That includes color powder, music, kids' activities, and henna. The first 1,000 people to register will receive a FREE white short-sleeved t-shirt.
How do we check in when we arrive?
Go directly to the check-in table when you arrive. Show the QR code on your phone or print out tickets to be scanned. You will receive a QR code for each ticket so make sure to print out all pages. You will receive two bags of color for each paid ticket and wristbands (which are needed for kids' activities and to enter the color throw area). The first 1,000 people registered will receive a FREE HoliFest t-shirt.
If you are part of a group that purchased a tent, go to the line that says "Group Tents" and you will be directed to your tent where wristbands, color, and t-shirts will be waiting.
How do we get a FREE HoliFest t-shirt?
It is a Holi tradition to wear white. The first 1,000 people to register will receive a free t-shirt when they arrive. Size choices are kids small, kids larger, adults medium, and adult XL. Sizes cannot be pre-ordered .
When will the color throw start?
Between 4 pm and 4:15 pm, a dhol player will lead everyone to the color throw area. In India, people celebrate by dancing and eating after playing with color. ICC hopes everyone will stay and continue to enjoy the positivity in our lives and the joy of Holi.
Can I get more colored powder?
After you have used the two bags you received at check-in, you can queue for additional bags. Each time you must trade in at least one empty plastic bag for a new bag and you must be wearing a wristband.
Is the powder safe?
CrazeeColors is providing the color. Their powder is safe, non-toxic, and made from high-quality cornstarch and food-grade colors. It is gluten-free.
Will the color stain clothes?
CrazeeColors products are very easy to clean and do not stain. The powder washes off and cleans easily. To make cleaning easier, shake the excess powder off before washing.
What if the powder gets in the eye?
In a few rare instances, the powder may get in an eye. CrazeeColors' powder will not harm eyes. Greenwich Emergency Medical Services (GEMS) will be on standby to flush eyes if needed.
What if the powder gets in my car?
Powder is easily vacuumed. ICC recommends that you bring plastic raincoats to wear home or bring a blanket, tarp,or beach towels or cover your seats for the ride home. You can also use your blanket or tarp to sit on at HoliFest.
What food will there be?
Come hungry! Tawa and Dhabewala will be serving an assortment of Indian foods and Indian-inspired foods including chaat (Indian snack foods), South Asian dosas, Indo-Chinese, and pizza. Longford's ice cream will serve Indian flavored ice cream (mango and pistachio) and kids' favorites such as chocolate.
Are pets allowed?
No. The Town of Greenwich does not allow pets at the Park.
Will there be tables and chairs?
There are a limited number of picnic tables at the Park. ICC recommends that you bring lawn chairs and tarps or blankets. Tarps and blankets can be used to cover your car seats on the trip home.
What if it rains?
If light rain is forecasted, HoliFest will be held as planned. If inclement weather such as a storm is forecasted for the afternoon of Sat., May 14, HoliFest will be moved to Sun., May 15. ICC will post the date change on the home page of its website and notify everyone who has registered by email 24 hours in advance.
What is ICC's refund policy?
If HoliFest is held on May 14 or moved to the May 15 rain date, there are no refunds. If HoliFest is canceled due to weather or other reason, you may request a refund after May 15 by emailing.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes. If you give your ticket to someone else they must present the QR code on paper or on their phone. A QR code can only be used once.
Is it safe to bring a camera or phone to take pictures?
A protective dust wrap is recommended especially for cameras to protect it from the dust from the powder. ICC is not liable for damage that might be done to your phone or camera.
Where can I park?
Parking will be in the Greenwich Island Beach Parking Lot across from Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. Parking in the Roger Sherman Baldwin Park lot is reserved for skateboarders. ICC will assess a $100 fine for anyone parking there.
Are their restrooms at the park?
The event is only three hours long. There is one portable toilet at the skate park that the public can use.
Do I need to be vaccinated or wear a mask to attend HoliFest?
HoliFest is an outdoor event. If you are not fully vaccinated or immunocompromised, masks are strongly encouraged. If there are state or local mandates in effect at the time of HoliFest, ICC will notify participants.
What else do I need to know?
ICC is not responsible for valuables and recommends that valuables be left at home.
A Note about Photography
During your visit, you may be photographed or filmed by an ICC authorized photographer or videographer. Your attendance at the event serves as permission for the use of your image by ICC.
