About HoliFest 2023
HoliFest is a community-wide celebration of Holi presented by India Cultural Center. It is ICC's opportunity to share the joy and playfulness of one of India's most revered and celebrated festivals with the community. Playing with vibrant and bright powdered colors is meant to unite people and provide positivity in our lives. Everyone is invited to participate. It's a celebration of love and inclusion.

WHERE: Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, 100 Arch Street, Greenwich (immediately off Rte. 95 Exit 3)
WHAT: Food, music, dancing, dhol player, kids' activities, henna for kids, and a massive color throw!

How much are tickets?
Buy tickets online by April 23 to be guaranteed a FREE HoliFest t-shirt

Tickets will be available online at the above pricing until Friday, May 5 at 5:00 pm.
Walk-in tickets are available at check-in.

What is included in the ticket price?
Everything but food. That includes color powder, music, kids' activities, and henna. Register by April 23 and receive a FREE HoliFest 2023 commemorative white t-shirt to wear for the color throw.

What about tent sales?
If you want to experience HoliFest with friends and family, there will be a limited number of tents first-come-first-served. Tents must be purchased by midnight April 23.

Friends and Family Tent for groups of 25, ages 4+
10' x 10' pop-up tent with table and chairs, stocked with 25 HoliFest 2023 t-shirts, 25 wristbands, and scissors to open colored powder bags. Friends and Family Tent guests can go directly to tents upon arrival. Tent names printed on 2 x 3 signs.
50 bags of color will be delivered to Friends and Family tents fifteen minutes before the color throw.
$750 includes registration, HoliFest 2023 t-shirts, tent, table, chairs, and color.

Deluxe for groups of 40, ages 4+ in prime location.
9' x 20' staked tent with tables and chairs, stocked with 40 HoliFest 2023 t-shirts, 40 wristbands, scissors to open color, and 2 cases of water. Deluxe Tent guests can go directly to tents upon arrival. Name or logo printed on 20-foot banner.
200 bags of color will be delivered to Deluxe tents fifteen minutes before the color throw.
Schools, organizations, and other groups will be named "Community Partner"and cited on ICC websites and in marketing.
$2,000 includes registration, t-shirts, tent, tables, chairs, color, and water.

Tents must be purchased by midnight April 23.

How do we check in when we arrive?
Go directly to the check-in table when you arrive. Show the QR code on your phone or print out tickets to be scanned. You will receive a QR code for each ticket so make sure to print out all pages. If you registered by April 23, you will receive a FREE HoliFest 2023 t-shirt when you check-in.

If you are part of a group that purchased a tent, go to the line that says "Group Tents" and you will be directed to your tent where wristbands, color, and t-shirts will be waiting.

How do we get a FREE HoliFest t-shirt?
It is a Holi tradition to wear white. Register by April 23 and you are guaranteed a free commemorative HoliFest 2023 t-shirt when you arrive. Size choices are kids small, kids larger, adults medium, and adult XL.

How will we get powder?
Fifteen minutes before the color throw, everyone can queue up for 2 bags of color. To get more color, you must trade in at least one empty plastic bag for a new bag and you must be wearing a wristband.

Is the powder safe?
CrazeeColors is providing the color. Their powder is safe, non-toxic, and made from high-quality cornstarch and food-grade colors. It is gluten-free.
​
Will the color stain clothes?
CrazeeColors products are very easy to clean and do not stain. The powder washes off and cleans easily. To make cleaning easier, shake the excess powder off before washing.

What if the powder gets in the eye?
In a few rare instances, the powder may get in an eye. CrazeeColors' powder will not harm eyes. Greenwich Emergency Medical Services (GEMS) will be on standby to flush eyes if needed.

What if the powder gets in my car?
The powder is easily vacuumed. ICC recommends that you bring plastic raincoats to wear home or bring a blanket, tarp, or beach towels or cover your seats for the ride home. You can also use your blanket or tarp to sit on at HoliFest.

What food will there be?
Come hungry! There will be lots of Indian foods for sale throughout the event.

Are pets allowed?
No. The Town of Greenwich does not allow pets at the Park.
​
Will there be tables and chairs?
There are a limited number of picnic tables at the Park. ICC recommends that you bring lawn chairs and tarps or blankets. Tarps and blankets can be used to cover your car seats on the trip home.
What if it rains? ​
HoliFest will be held rain or shine. In India, Holi is celebrated with color and water. It is all part of the experience.
What is ICC's refund policy?
There are no refunds.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes. If you give your ticket to someone else they must present the QR code on paper or on their phone. A QR code can only be used once.
​
Is it safe to bring a camera or phone to take pictures?
A protective dust wrap is recommended especially for cameras to protect it from the dust from the powder. ICC is not liable for damage that might be done to your phone or camera.

Where can I park?
Parking will be in the Greenwich Island Beach Parking Lot across from Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. Parking in the Roger Sherman Baldwin Park lot is reserved for skateboarders. ICC will assess a $100 fine for anyone parking there.
​
Are their restrooms at the park?
The event is only three hours long. There is one portable toilet at the skate park if there is an emergency.
What else do I need to know?
ICC is not responsible for valuables and recommends that valuables be left at home.

A Note about Photography​
During your visit, you may be photographed or filmed by an ICC-authorized photographer or videographer. Your attendance at the event serves as permission for the use of your image by ICC.
